International Student Admission

 Application Periods:

1.     Fall Semester: February 1 to April 30 annually.

2.     Spring Semester: August 1 to October 31 annually.

 Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must possess foreign nationality and have never held Republic of China (R.O.C.) nationality. Applicants must not hold Overseas Chinese student status at the time of application, and may apply for admission in accordance with these regulations.

Applicants who possess foreign nationality, meet the following criteria, and have continuously resided overseas for six or more consecutive years prior to the application are also eligible to apply in accordance with these regulations. However, for those intending to major in Medicine, Dentistry, or Chinese Medicine, the required continuous residency period is eight or more consecutive years:

1.     Applicants who concurrently hold R.O.C. nationality at the time of application must have never registered a household in Taiwan from birth.

2.     Applicants who previously held R.O.C. nationality but no longer hold it at the time of application must have lost R.O.C. nationality for a full eight years prior to the time of application, starting from the date the Ministry of the Interior permitted the loss of R.O.C. nationality.

3.     Applicants must not have previously studied in Taiwan under Overseas Chinese student status and must not have been placed by the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Compatriot Students in the current academic year.
