History
The Office of International Affairs was first established on February 1, 2007 (ROC Year 96), under the Office of Research and Development, comprising the Division of Academic Development, the Division of Academic Cooperation, and the Educational Research Center.
To meet operational needs, it was renamed the Office of International Affairs and Research and Development on August 1, 2010 (ROC Year 99), with the Division of Academic Cooperation and the Educational Research Center restructured as the Division of International Affairs and the Division of Industry Academia Collaboration respectively.
The Innovation Incubation Center was established on January 1, 2014 (ROC Year 103), and the Office was later renamed the Office of International and Cross Strait Affairs Research Development on August 1 of the same year.
On February 1, 2026 (ROC Year 115), following organizational restructuring, the Office of International Affairs was formally established as an independent unit responsible for advancing international affairs, enhancing global mobility, and cultivating bilingual international talent across the University.
Main duties of different divisions
Division of International Collaboration
Responsible for promoting international academic exchange, establishing university level partnership agreements and exchange visits, coordinating inbound and outbound exchange programs, and managing short term international student programs.
Division of International Admissions
Responsible for recruitment, admission, student support during study, and scholarship administration for overseas Chinese students, students from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, and international students.
